Belarusian State University  Belarusian State University is a major educational and research-and-production center that includes system of training and retraining of highly skilled staff, large centers of science, scientific production centers.
BSU actively cooperates with numerous intergovernmental organizations: United Nations, UNESCO, OSCE, EU as well as international nongovernmental associations: International Association of Universities, Conference of Rectors of Europe, Eurasian Association of Universities, etc.
Today BSU unites 16 faculties and 4 educational institutes: State Institute of Management and Social Technologies, Institute of Business and Management of Technologies, Institute of Theology named by Saint Mefody and Cyril, Institute of Continuing Education. BSU provides training in 58 specialties. 25 000 undergraduates, 460 Master's degree students,  520 post-graduate and post-doctoral students are being trained at the BSU. The University employs 8500 staff members, including 2860 teaching staff members of whom there are 410 Doctors of Sciences, 1640 Candidates of Sciences, including well-known scientists, State Prize laureates in the field of science and education. Scientific potential of the University in the filed of Physics, Mathematics, Mechanics, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Economy, History, Geography, Law, Philosophy, International Relations, Journalism, Philology, etc. allows carrying out training of highly skilled professionals at a level of world and European standards.
Recently the University has offered training in the field of International Law, International Tourism, Computer Science and Communication, Geological Research, Ecology, Computer Science in History, Library Work, etc.
